2.8.x is very old and probably has security issues such as
CVE-2011-0530 (unconfirmed on 2.8.7). But given that 2.8.7
also didn't compile with anything recent for kernel headers, it's
best to just move up to current.

apparently somewhere along the line the nios build for this pacakge
was broken. This fixes it:
added -Wno-error as there were a few warnings in the nios2 specific part
added LDFLAGS to fix GNU hash QA error
both changes are nios2 specific so _append_nios2

`pthread_create'
Do not override do_configure and pass endianness information in
EXTRA_OECONF, also move common settings from EXTRA_OECONF in recipes to
inc file.
Let build go in parallel for svn recipe. It works !

Added basic beagle support porting in the two patches that were
obvious to bring in. Updated the omapzoom machines with the same
defconfig while doing this.

* We aim to support new mips devices shipping with u-boot
* but we cannot set KERNEL_IMAGETYPE = "uImage" yet.
* This is temporary solution until uImage becomes target for mips
* both in kernel and kexec-tools

On recent kernels,the openmoko accelerometers input node moved:
/dev/input/event2 -> /dev/input/event3
/dev/input/event3 -> /dev/input/event4
And the reporting format went from relative to absolute.
Thanks a lot elisa42 from #openmoko-cdevel on Freenode on irc:
<elisa42> GNUtoo|laptop: accelges is probably not working because they use event2/3 which is now event3/4. i think we should report this upstream
[...]
<elisa42> GNUtoo|laptop: read http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Accelerometer_data_retrieval#Data_structure to understand what rel means
Note that upstream doesn't exist anymore: accelges was developped as
a google summer of code by someone that now works at Microsoft
( http://www.borza.ro/ for more details) .

pulse uses a magic version file hidden in tarbal in order to determine
its version so set that to out ${PV} from OE.
Also git pulse has changed the default location of modules so set it
to be same as old location for compatability.
