2016-02-02p11-kit: fix module packagingRoss Burton
These .so files are actually loadable modules, so should be installed into $PN not $PN-dev. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2016-02-02libnl: package the libnl-cli modules in libnl-cliRoss Burton
The libraries that get installed into $libdir/libnl/cli/ are not development libraries for linking against but loadable modules for the libnl-cli component, so move them to the right package. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2016-02-02liboil: drop recipe from oe-coreAndre McCurdy
There are no remaining dependencies on liboil in oe-core (in most cases it has been replaced by 'orc'). There is one recipe with a dependency on liboil in meta-multimedia ('schroedinger'). The liboil recipe has now been included in meta-multimedia, so can be dropped from oe-core. http://git.openembedded.org/meta-openembedded/commit/?id=1f48c624e0fcc15fdcfed923cfac5e8d7da07290 Signed-off-by: Andre McCurdy <armccurdy@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-02-02boost: Fix build on soft-float ABI arm systemsKhem Raj
We get errors like ./boost/test/execution_monitor.hpp:490:27: error: 'FE_DIVBYZERO' was not declared in this scope BOOST_FPE_DIVBYZERO = FE_DIVBYZERO, on musl, rightly because FPU is not used on soft-float systems Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2016-02-02db: Use cross libtoolKhem Raj
db is not reconfigured like usual autotools based components so it generates its own libtool, and this libtool is not equipped to do cross builds, e.g. when building using clang on musl, it misdirects linker to use libstdc++.so from build host instead of target, the reason being it does not understand sysroot. Use cross libtool instead to build the target versions Fixes errors like below | libtool: link: arm-oe-linux-musleabi-ranlib .libs/libdb-6.0.a | /a/builder/mnt/build-oe/tmp-musl/sysroots/x86_64-linux/usr/bin/arm-oe-linux-musleabi/arm-oe-linux-musleabi-ld: error: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so: incompatible target (From OE-Core rev: d14b5e650e1e55e30abbd884a6bbd9b4feacd923) Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2016-01-29ptest-runner: Add ptest-runner_2.0 recipe.Aníbal Limón
The ptest-runner 2.0 is C written program for run ptests of Yocto/Openembedded, is fully compatible with previous version of ptest-runner that was a shell script that runs ptests sequencially. The mainly reason for the new ptest-runner in C is because is designed for run in tiny systems also the old shell script version have problems when certain ptest hang it becomes blocked indefinitely. Now the ptest-runner 2.0 support the next features: - Specify the directory for search ptests. - List available ptests. - Specify the timeout for avoid blocking indefinetly. - Only run certain ptests. Proposed features: - Adds support for per ptest output file. - Adds support for run ptests in parallel (review possible colisions in ptests). 2016-01-24sqlite3.inc: dynamically link the sqlite3 command-line utilityAndre McCurdy

2016-01-24sqlite3.inc: fix readline PACKAGECONFIGAndre McCurdy
Make it clearer that readline support for the target build is now disabled by default. Since readline dependencies and configure options are now handled by PACKAGECONFIG, avoid duplicating readline in DEPENDS or duplicating --disable-readline in EXTRA_OECONF. Also add --disable-editline to EXTRA_OECONF to avoid a potential floating dependency, since the configure script checks for libedit before it checks for libreadline. 2016-01-22gpgme: Define __error_t_defined on muslKhem Raj
Configure looks for error_t in errno.h and musl does not define error_t if its not defined then configure emits a definition to be used, now we also use standalone argp implementation from glibc on musl based systems which defines this in argp.h as well so now we have it defined twice and errors like | /a/builder/mnt/build-oe/tmp-musl/sysroots/raspberrypi2/usr/include/argp.h:40:13: error: cannot combine with previous 'int' declaration specifier | typedef int error_t; | ^ | ../config.h:257:17: note: expanded from macro 'error_t' | #define error_t int | ^ | 1 error generated. are seen. argp.h definition is conditional on __error_t_defined which is true here so lets define it on musl Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>

2016-01-11meta: rename perl-native-runtimeEd Bartosh
The code in native.bbclass adds -native suffix to the package names that don't have it. perl-native-runtime becomes perl-native-runtime-native because of this. 2016-01-11boost: update to 1.60.0Lukas Bulwahn
Due to the version update to 1.59.0, the two patches previously backported in this recipe are now dropped. The actual status of the arm-intrinsics.patch (reported with Upstream-Status: Backport) is unknown to the committer, and hence, that patch is kept in the recipe, even if it is possibly not required anymore. A deeper analysis is required to determine need and status of that patch. Second, boost 1.59.0 provides a new library, called timer, which is packaged as further library in the boost recipe. The update to boost 1.60.0 required no further changes beyond changing the checksum hashes. Third, on PPC architectures, qemuppc & mpc8315e-rdb [1] (tested by Ross Burton), the boost test library with the vanilla version 1.60.0 fails with: | gcc.compile.c++ bin.v2/libs/test/build/aca09349fdb84d131321425f6c3a38ed/execution_monitor.o | In file included from [...]/tmp/sysroots/mpc8315e-rdb/usr/include/fenv.h:114:0, | from [...]/tmp/sysroots/mpc8315e-rdb/usr/include/c++/5.3.0/fenv.h:36, | from ./boost/detail/fenv.hpp:97, | from ./boost/test/execution_monitor.hpp:64, | from ./boost/test/impl/execution_monitor.ipp:31, | from libs/test/src/execution_monitor.cpp:16: | ./boost/test/impl/execution_monitor.ipp: In function 'unsigned int boost::fpe::enable(unsigned int)': | ./boost/test/impl/execution_monitor.ipp:1383:7: error: expected id-expression before '(' token | ::feclearexcept(BOOST_FPE_ALL); | ^ | ./boost/test/impl/execution_monitor.ipp: In function 'unsigned int boost::fpe::disable(unsigned int)': | ./boost/test/impl/execution_monitor.ipp:1420:7: error: expected id-expression before '(' token | ::feclearexcept(BOOST_FPE_ALL); | ^ The commit f50e7bc9fed323c5705c0ed992c03e80eeec1dd6 from the boostorg/test github repository (branch: develop) [2] addresses that issue, but it was not merged in the 1.60.0 release. 2016-01-07boost: ensure boost to remain an empty metapackageLukas Bulwahn
To ensure that boost remains an empty metapackage after version updates, we explicitly require boost files to be empty. If new libraries exist after a version update of the boost recipe, bitbake will emit a warning at the do_package task. For example, at the version update from 1.58.0 to 1.59.0, the new timer library is indicated with: WARNING: QA Issue: boost: Files/directories were installed but not shipped in any package: /usr/lib/libboost_timer.so.1.59.0 Please set FILES such that these items are packaged. Alternatively if they are unneeded, avoid installing them or delete them within do_install. boost: 1 installed and not shipped files. [installed-vs-shipped] Ross Burton suggested this improvement on the openembedded-core mailing list during review of the boost recipe version update [1].
