2021-07-30iputils: update 20210202 -> 20210722Alexander Kanavin
Drop rdisc part from 0001-rarpd-rdisc-Drop-PrivateUsers.patch as it's been fixed upstream; rarpd still isn't. Signed-off-by: Alexander Kanavin <alex.kanavin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2021-07-30Convert to new override syntaxRichard Purdie
This is the result of automated script conversion: scripts/contrib/convert-overrides.py <oe-core directory> converting the metadata to use ":" as the override character instead of "_". Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2021-03-02iputils: Fix cap_net_raw for installed binariesJate Sujjavanich
Add libcap-native to libcap PACKAGECONFIG making native setcap available during the build. This assures its availability during install and prevents meson from searching absolute paths and the resulting possible host contamination. Move -DNO_SETCAP_OR_SUID=true to the libcap PACKAGECONFIG negative case This will prevent possible non-determinism for the setuid case. 2020-09-02iputils: Adapt ${PN}-tftpd package dependency to PACKAGECONFIGRichard Purdie
This avoids failures when recipes try and use the iptuils package. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2020-09-02iputils: upgrade s20190709 -> s20200821Changhyeok Bae
- libgcrypt is not required anymore because the md5 implementation was part of this project. - ninfod patches are upstreamed and other patch is not required anymore. - Add tftpd in PACKAGECONFIG Signed-off-by: Changhyeok Bae <changhyeok.bae@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2018-07-26iputils: upgrade to s20190629Ross Burton
License-Update: change license checksums to check the License files themselves (BSD3 and GPL2), and the tool-to-license file (LICENSE). Changes to LICENSE will now be detected. Backport a patch to fix the build with musl. Drop upstreamed patch. Update libidn build-dependency to libidn2. Patch in an install target and use that to install binaries, to avoid upstream adding binaries that we don't ship. Also ship all binaries that are installed. 2018-02-06iputils: update to 20161105Alexander Kanavin
We've been using obsolete upstream URI for quite a while; meanwhile a lot of development has happened Drop all the patches: they are either changing the code that has been refactored, or are backports. Add a new musl fix patch from gentoo. ping6 and tracepath6 variants have been folded into standard versions. 2017-09-11iputils: backport patch to fix arping hang problemChen Qi
arping hangs if SIGALARM is blocked. Backport a patch to fix this problem. Unblock SIGALRM so that the previously called alarm() can prevent recvfrom() from blocking forever in case the inherited procmask is blocking SIGALRM and no packet is received. 2016-02-10iputils: Explicitly set EXTRA_OEMAKE as requiredMike Crowe

2013-10-30recipes: Remove PR = r0 from all recipesRichard Purdie
Remove all PR = "r0" from all .bb files in oe-core. This was done with the command sed -e '/^PR.*=.*r0\"/d' recipes*/*/*.bb -i We've switching to the PR server, PR bumps are no longer needed and this saves people either accidentally bumping them or forgetting to remove the lines (r0 is the default anyway). 2012-08-24iputils: chmod in pkg_postinst are redundantSaul Wold
With pseudo the cmod in pkg_postinst is actaully redundant since the do_install uses install -m 4555 and pseudo is able to track that between the install time and the rootfs package installation, so the perms are correct. [YOCTO #2894] Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>

2011-09-13opensp: Fix hard path in native nsgmls.Zhai Edwin
This relocation issues caused following bug and introduce one partial fix bb024d: [YOCTO #1440] But the environment val hacking is not working all the time, as nsgmsl may append wrong path in some case. This fix use search directory "-D" as solution. And more important, change the iputils' way to make doc: Use the sysid in current directory instead of parent directory, as "../" is also appended to the search directory then lead searching failure. 2010-08-27Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
