glibc defines minimum kernel needed to be 3.10.0 for LE ppc64 Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2019-08-21nativesdk-qemu: support aarch64_be.Lei Maohui
Otherwise, there will be "no aarch64_be-softmmu" error. Signed-off-by: Lei Maohui <leimaohui@cn.fujitsu.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2019-02-28qemu: split the native version into usermode and system partsAlexander Kanavin
The rationale is to streamline the overall build. The system parts are only needed to run target images, and so can be built towards the end of the build process. At the same time, the system parts may need gtk+-native and mesa-native which add significantly to the build time. On the other hand, the usermode parts have almost no dependencies and can be built quickly. They are needed at recipes build time to run target binaries, and so are required quite early in the typical build process. 2018-09-21qemu-targets.inc: Mark 'lm32' as softmmu only architectureNathan Rossi
The lm32 architecture does not support linux-user within QEMU as it is not a Linux supported target. Signed-off-by: Nathan Rossi <nathan@nathanrossi.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2016-12-16meta: remove True option to getVar callsJoshua Lock
getVar() now defaults to expanding by default, thus remove the True option from getVar() calls with a regex search and replace. Search made with the following regex: getVar ?\(( ?[^,()]*), True\) Signed-off-by: Joshua Lock <joshua.g.lock@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2015-11-16qemu: enable user mode for mips64 and mips64elJackie Huang
- remove mips64 and mips64el from softmmuonly list to enable user mode, they have been supported since 2012. - keep the softmmuonly list and for loop although there is only one for now in case more supported arches added. 2014-08-17qemu-targets.inc: Update to handle mingw/darwinRichard Purdie
For non-linux targets, don't return linux-user qemu targets. This change also improves readability of the functions through better variable names. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2014-08-15qemu: enable aarch64 supportKai Kang
qemu 2.1.0 support aarch64 targets, so add aarch64 to QEMU_TARGETS to enable qemu aarch64 support. [YOCTO #6487] Signed-off-by: Kai Kang <kai.kang@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2011-11-10Convert to use direct access to the data store (instead of bb.data.*Var*())Richard Purdie
This is the result of running the following over the metadata: sed \ -e 's:bb.data.\(setVar([^,()]*,[^,()]*\), *\([^ )]*\) *):\2.\1):g' \ -e 's:bb.data.\(setVarFlag([^,()]*,[^,()]*,[^,()]*\), *\([^) ]*\) *):\2.\1):g' \ -e 's:bb.data.\(getVar([^,()]*\), *\([^(), ]*\) *,\([^)]*\)):\2.\1,\3):g' \ -e 's:bb.data.\(getVarFlag([^,()]*,[^,()]*\), *\([^(), ]*\) *,\([^)]*\)):\2.\1,\3):g' \ -e 's:bb.data.\(getVarFlag([^,()]*,[^,()]*\), *\([^() ]*\) *):\2.\1):g' \ -e 's:bb.data.\(getVar([^,()]*\), *\([^) ]*\) *):\2.\1):g' \ -i `grep -ril bb.data *` Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2011-03-31qemu.inc: Add sh4,sh4eb,mips64,mips64el targetsKhem Raj
In order to leavarage more emulations in oe-core these targets needs to be built as well Introduce new variable QEMU_TARGETS which can be set by user to decide what all machine support should be build into qemu-native This one works adding same to qemu.inc does not parse presumably a bitbake problem.
