+Fixes a problem with certain valid install paths:
+
+make prefix=/tmp/a+b/
+Makefile:434: *** configured libdir (/tmp/a+b//lib) is outside of exec_prefix (/tmp/a+b/), can't generate pkg-config file.  Stop.
+
