For .diff/.patch you need to apply manually, you can specify apply=no.

I think this makes the behavior rather more clear.

* all: multiple checked items in SRC_URI (needs name= param)
* other fixes like non-existent URL, checksums moved ot .inc or included .bb (ie for -native)
* ...
* tested with micro/micro-uclibc/Angstrom/SHR with
SOURCE_MIRROR_FETCH="True" (ignoring COMPATIBLE_*
* also tested -c fetch with s/SRC_URI_append_[^ ]*/SRC_URI_append/g and
s/SRC_URI_[^ ]*/SRC_URI_append/g to catch all URLs used only for
distro/machine/virtual override (see
http://build.shr-project.org/tests/jama/SRC_URI.removeOverrides.patch)
* in case I downloaded different checksum then what was in checksums.ini
I used the old one from checksums.ini and put my checksum in comment
* I'll send to ML list of recipes which cannot be downloaded (weren't
converted) and where I got different checksums

I took the default config and changed the following things:
hda1->sda1: eee710 uses the new pata/sata subsystem driver in
the linux kenrel,and the devices nodes changed from hdxx
(in use in the old ata subsbsystem) to sdxx (in use in the new
unified pata/sata one)
ro was temporarly remplaced by rw because of the problem where the boot
process hung.
Udev could not write his cache on the disk, should have been fixed
by commit 2b835db69e6b838fa8628dd85b11b4f930d5f5f9 but it was not
(same issue than before...maybe this commit fix something else then)

Recent mkfs.ext[2|3|4] create filesystems with 256 bytes inodes
So if you boot a system with a recent e2fsprogs,
install an openembedded based distribution like angstrom from it,
and then try to boot the openembedded-based distribution: it won't
work (grub wouldn't be able to read files from the disk)
The patch came from:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%23463236

In the main grub package, menu.lst and stage1/2 files will now be
installed in /boot/grub.
stage2_eltorito is split into its own package for bootable ISOs.

As far as I can tell, only the wrap board and gpe-phone-image are using
grub, and they use the default version, 0.97.
