2020-11-13libbsd: Remove BSD-4-Clause from main packageMark Jonas
libbsd contains a multitude of licenses. For (commercial) projects the 3rd clause of the BSD-4-Clause license can be problematic. But only a few man pages use this license. This means that the main package containing the binary library itself is not under BSD-4-Clause ruling. pkg-config currently only handles -I and -L correctly, but misses -isystem, so we need to do this workaround to fix this issue. There's a open bug in: https://bugzilla.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99516 This appears when building lldpd and shows error: ERROR: lldpd-0.9.6-r0 do_configure: This autoconf log indicates errors, it looked at host include and/or library paths while determining system capabilities. Rerun configure task after fixing this. 2016-02-11libbsd: Security fix and update 0.8.2Armin Kuster
This update includes: CVE-2016-2090 Heap buffer overflow in fgetwln function of libbsd libbsd 0.8.1 and earlier contains a buffer overflow in the function fgetwln(). An if checks if it is necessary to reallocate memory in the target buffer. However this check is off by one, therefore an out of bounds write happens. Upstream has released version 0.8.2 to fix this.
