2014-12-05bzip2: use subdir SRC_URI param instead of adding tasksRoss Burton
Instead of adding new tasks to move files around, just use the subdir SRC_URI parameter. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2014-05-15bzip2: fix ptest execution failureMaxin B. John
This patch fixes the bzip2 ptest execution failure: root@qemux86:/usr/lib/bzip2/ptest# ./run-ptest make: *** No rule to make target 'runtest'. (This is also applicable for daisy branch) Signed-off-by: Maxin B. John <maxin.john@enea.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
2014-03-05bzip: Add extra files as a specific taskRichard Purdie
This means that do_configure prefunc code can see the files in question and ensures aclocal files get copied in. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2013-11-25bzip2: Remove stange copy line, automake does this for us anywayRichard Purdie
Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-10-26bzip2: replace += with _append for appending to OVERRIDES variablesMing Liu
In some cases, it's unfit to use "+=" in a conditional appending, we would end up with the variable being set rather than being appended, which is not it mean to. Signed-off-by: Ming Liu <ming.liu@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
2013-06-27bzip2: Add ptestBjörn Stenberg

2012-11-02recipes-extended: replace virtclass-native(sdk) with class-native(sdk)Robert Yang
The overrides virtclass-native and virtclass-nativesdk are deprecated, which should be replaced by class-native and class-nativesdk. [YOCTO #3297] Signed-off-by: Robert Yang <liezhi.yang@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
2012-10-03bzip2 and busybox: Incorrect LICENSEElizabeth Flanagan
The license for bzip2 is not quite BSD. I have an email out to the maintainer to see if we can utilize a common BSD license (or something else) however, for now, we should revert bzip2 back to a special license. As busybox also utilizes a lightly modified bzip2, this also effects busybox. 2012-08-31nativesdk: Switch to using nativesdk as a prefix, not a suffixRichard Purdie
As discussed on the mailing lists, using a suffix to package names is hard and has lead to many recipes having to do PKGSUFFIX games. Its looking extremely hard to scale nativesdk much further without hacking many recipes. By comparison, using a prefix like multilib does works much better and doesn't involve "hacking" as many recipes. This change converts nativesdk to use a prefix using the existing multilib infrastructure. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2012-07-27bzip2-native: handling native path issueYao Zhao
follow Richard's approach, modify bzip2-native recipe to install bzip2 package binaries to STAGING_BINDIR_NATIVE/bzip2-native to avoid problems when other package is doing upack to reference bzip2. libbz2.so* still installs to STAGING_LIBDIR_NATIVE. change python-native to depends on bzip2-replacement-native instead of bzip2-full-native and add EXTRANATIVEPATH for bzip2-native. Didn't add bzip2native.bbclass as python-native is the only user so far. Signed-off-by: Yao Zhao <yao.zhao@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>

2012-03-08bzip2: split into binary and library packagesAndreas Oberritter
* Create libbz2 (and -dev, -staticdev), which can be installed without the bzip2 executables. Signed-off-by: Andreas Oberritter <obi@opendreambox.org> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2011-12-08OECore license fixes: meta/*Elizabeth Flanagan
This is a quick audit of only the most obviously wrong licenses found within OECore. These fixes fall into four areas: - LICENSE field had incorrect format so that the parser choked - LICENSE field has a license with no version - LICENSE field was actually incorrect - LICENSE field has an imaginary license that didn't exist This fixes most of the LICENSE warnings thrown, along with my prior commit adding additional licenses to common-licenses and additional SPDXLICENSEMAP entries. HOWEVER..... there is much to be done on the license front. For a list of recipes with licenses that need obvious fixing see: https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/License_Audit That said, I would suggest another license audit as I've found enough inconsistencies. A good suggestion is when in doubt, look at how openSuse or Gentoo or Debian license the package. Signed-off-by: Elizabeth Flanagan <elizabeth.flanagan@intel.com>
