If you want to be able to use -fstack-protector then you need the runtime support - you can either write this yourself or use libssp supplied with GCC. If you're using GCC then it seems likely that you'd just be using libssp, so include in the SDK by default; however use RRECOMMENDS just in case it's been disabled or you aren't using GCC. 2016-12-17package: don't count every hardlink for PKGSIZERoss Burton
When calculating PKGSIZE we sum the size of files after doing lstat() so we don't count directory metadata overhead, but were not correctly handling hardlinks. This results in packages such as e2fsprogs-mke2fs having PKGSIZE of 1.5M when it's actually a single 300K binary with five hardlinks. Changes to past time stamps The new zone Asia/Atyrau for Atyraū Region, Kazakhstan, is like Asia/Aqtau except it switched from +05/+06 to +04/+05 in spring 1999, not fall 1994. Changes to code zic no longer mishandles file systems that lack hard links, fixing bugs introduced in 2016g. (Problems reported by Tom Lane.) Also, when the destination already contains symbolic links, zic should now work better on systems where the 'link' system call does not follow symbolic links. Changes to documentation and commentary tz-link.htm now documents the relationship between release version numbers and development-repository commit tags. (Suggested by Paul Koning.) The 'Theory' file now documents UT. iso3166.tab now accents "Curaçao", and commentary now mentions the names "Cabo Verde" and "Czechia". (Thanks to Jiří Boháč.) With the current set of PACKAGECONFIG, we end up building with 'gles2' and neither 'opengl', nor 'egl'. As a result we are building -bad with neither 'glx' nor 'egl' platform support. So let's make sure that we at least have egl by default (since we default to 'gles2'). Some c++ libraries fail to build if uninative is built with gcc 5.x and host gcc version is either 4.8 or 4.9. The issue should be solved by making separate uninative sstate directory structure sstate-cache/universal-<gcc version> for host gcc versions 4.8 and 4.9. This causes rebuilds of uninative if host gcc is either 4.8 or 4.9 and it doesn't match gcc version used to build uninative.
