2016-05-20bluez5: fixed path to bluetoothd in sysvinit scriptChristian Ege
Within the sysvinit script the path to bluetoothd is wrong. Because of this the init scripts silently terminates without any message Signed-off-by: Christian Ege <k4230r6@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2016-04-29bluez5: enable out-of-tree buildsRoss Burton
A patch is needed to fix a race in out-of-tree builds, and the install-ptest logic can be simplified. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2016-04-05bluez5.inc: remove obsolete workaroundPatrick Ohly
Bluez 5.37 itself correctly installs bluetooth.conf, and honors the path settings in dbus-1.pc. Removing the obsolete workaround is necessary for compiling "stateless" (= read-only system configuration moved out of /etc). Signed-off-by: Patrick Ohly <patrick.ohly@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-04-03bluez5: add ptest supportAlexander Kanavin

2016-03-20bluez5: allow D-Bus to spawn obexd in systems without systemdJavier Viguera
This includes a proper D-Bus service file for obexd in systems that do not support systemd. Signed-off-by: Javier Viguera <javier.viguera@digi.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2016-01-11bluez5: upgrade to 5.37Maxin B. John
5.36 -> 5.37 Remove the backported patch: core-profile-Fix-possible-crash-when-registering-pro.patch Build bluez5 only when DISTRO_FEATURES include bluez5 Signed-off-by: Maxin B. John <maxin.john@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2015-12-28bluez5: include the patch only for 5.36Martin Jansa
* it's backport so it probably won't be needed for newer version and it doesn't apply for older versions, so it just prevents to easily use bluez5.inc Signed-off-by: Martin Jansa <Martin.Jansa@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-12-16meta: Drop now pointless manual -dbg packagingRichard Purdie
With the autodebug package generation logic, specifically setting FILES_${PN}-dbg isn't needed in most cases, we can remove them. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-12-12bluez5: upgrade to 5.36Cristian Iorga
Backported a fix for a segfault crash. Signed-off-by: Cristian Iorga <cristian.iorga@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2015-11-25bluez5: enable sysvinit supportChristopher Larson
This is from Shrikant Bobade <Shrikant_Bobade@mentor.com>. Signed-off-by: Christopher Larson <chris_larson@mentor.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2015-10-01bluez5: Use upstream D-Bus policyJussi Kukkonen
The Bluez D-Bus policy is much too open and affects not just bluez but all system services: Use upstream policy configuration instead. This change has a chance of affecting other D-Bus services: the bug that is fixed here may have hidden problems in other policies. [YOCTO #8414] Signed-off-by: Jussi Kukkonen <jussi.kukkonen@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-09-06bluez: handle udev dir being 2 levels below /Joshua Lock
When building with a merged /usr dir the udev directory lives at /usr/lib/udev - update the FILES pattern to also pick up udev files installed two levels below the / to ensure a merged /usr works. Signed-off-by: Joshua Lock <joshua.lock@collabora.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-06-26bluez5: fix lib/libexecdir confusionRoss Burton
Use $libexecdir and $libdir as appropriate so the files are packaged correctly when libexecdir != $libdir/$BPN. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2015-06-23bluez5: remove alsa from PACKAGECONFIGRobert Yang
The PACKAGECONFIG[alsa] had been removed when upgraded to 5.12 since it was not supported any more. Signed-off-by: Robert Yang <liezhi.yang@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2014-12-11bluez5: support experimental through PACKAGECONFIGPeter A. Bigot
Make it simple to enable the experimental plugins and tools. Signed-off-by: Peter A. Bigot <pab@pabigot.com>
2014-12-11bluez5: add a package for tools left in the build areaPeter A. Bigot
In bluez4 gatttool was provided as a command-line interface to the Generic Attribute Profile. In bluez5 this tool is still built but is no longer installed. It is still necessary for those wishing to use GATT since the programmatic API is not yet mature. A variety of other useful tools are treated similarly by bluez5. Make these tools available in the bluez5-noinst-tools package, in a way that allows control over which tools are packaged, with the default being all that are provided in a particular release of bluez. Signed-off-by: Peter A. Bigot <pab@pabigot.com>
2014-12-11bluez-hcidump: select provider as bluez4 or bluez5Peter A. Bigot
bluez-hcidump was a separate package in bluez4, but was integrated into bluez5. Signed-off-by: Peter A. Bigot <pab@pabigot.com>
2014-11-12bluez5: fix QA error from configure optionPeter A. Bigot
The systemdunitdir option was split into systemdsystemunitdir and systemduserunitdir before bluez5 was ever released, so this produced a QA error and was ignored. There appears to be no reason to override the inferred default, so replace it with an explicit --enable-systemd. Signed-off-by: Peter A. Bigot <pab@pabigot.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2014-06-13bluez5: Force obex.service in /usr/libDrew Moseley
Upstream bluez installs the obex.service file into /usr/lib regardless of the multilib settings as does the current systemd recipe. Make sure it gets packaged properly. Signed-off-by: Drew Moseley <drew_moseley@mentor.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2014-04-25Globally replace 'base_contains' calls with 'bb.utils.contains'Otavio Salvador
The base_contains is kept as a compatibility method and we ought to not use it in OE-Core so we can remove it from base metadata in future. Signed-off-by: Otavio Salvador <otavio@ossystems.com.br> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2014-02-28autotools-brokensep: Mark recipes with broken separate build dir supportRichard Purdie
This patch goes through the OE-Core recipes and marks those which use autotools but don't support a separate build directory (${S} != ${B}). A new class, autotools-brokensep is used for this purpose. This doesn't introduce any change in behaviour in its own right. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-12-14bluez5: upgrade to 5.12Cristian Iorga
- Configure options no longer available were removed. - The content of patch directory was generic, so the name of directory is now generic. - Switched to xz format for tarball (40% decrease in download size). Signed-off-by: Cristian Iorga <cristian.iorga@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
2013-09-11bluez4/5: Add EXCLUDE_FROM_WORLD = 1Saul Wold
We can't build both recipes in the world build as there is a collision of package name and PR values. Specificly the libasound-module-bluez which is the same in both goes backwards from r5 (bluez4) -> r0 (bluez5) and the subpackage_metadata check fails: ERROR: Recipe lib32-bluez5 is trying to change PR from 'r0' to 'r5'. This will cause do_package_write_* failures since the incorrect data will be used and they will be unable to find the right workdir. [YOCTO #5165] Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-09-06bluez5: Rename tests package to testtoolsMihai Prica
Bluez5 ships some tools that can be used to test its functionality. The installation can be tested using "make check" and this should be included in a ptest package. [YB #5028] Signed-off-by: Mihai Prica <mihai.prica@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-09-06bluez5: Install the bluetooth libraryMihai Prica
Bluez5 doesn't install libbluetooth by default. This is required by connman, ofono or other packages. Signed-off-by: Mihai Prica <mihai.prica@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-08-01bluez5: Add obex-profiles as a PACKAGECONFIG, package obexd separatelyRoss Burton
--enable-obex controls if obexd supports extra profiles (currently IRMC and PBAB), which brings in a dependency on libical for the dummy phonebook implementation. Based on work by Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
2013-07-29bluez5: Only install .conf files if foundJukka Rissanen
Bluez5 is migrating away from using separate .conf files for different profiles. So only install profile configuration files when they are found. This is needed so that the bluez5.inc file can be used with latest bluez5 from git. Signed-off-by: Jukka Rissanen <jukka.rissanen@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
2013-07-18bluez5: new package for v5.7Cristian Iorga
- bluez5 does not replace bluez4 - bluez5 is integrated with systemd - RCONFLICTS bluez4 - add readline dependency Signed-off-by: Cristian Iorga <cristian.iorga@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
