2017-02-07pcmciautils: Inherit pkgconfigKhem Raj
Fixes ERROR: pcmciautils-018-r1 do_package: QA Issue: pcmciautils: Files/directories were installed but not shipped in any package: /pcmcia-socket-startup /pcmcia-check-broken-cis /rules.d /rules.d/60-pcmcia.rules Since we do not have pkg-config in native sysroot it is not computing paths correctly and causes above error Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-09-23pcmciautils: remove duplicated udev setting from FILES_${PN}Robert Yang
bitbake.conf already sets it. Signed-off-by: Robert Yang <liezhi.yang@windriver.com>
2016-02-18pcmciautils: Update SRC_URIRichard Purdie
Switch to use KERNELORG_MIRROR. Use .xz tarball instead of bz2 as not all kernel mirrors carry .bz2 now. This resolves various checkuri issues on the autobuilder infrastructure. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-01-31pcmciautils: Fix makefile raceRichard Purdie
The existing patch wasn't fixing one issue it claimed to and seemed incorrect in relation to the other. This patch correctly addresses the parallel make issue, as seen on our autobuilder. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-01-22pcmciautils: Fix parallel build and include sys/types.hKhem Raj
parallel build patch was removing dependencies on .c files mistakenly just adding src/yacc_config.h to dependencies in existing rule should have fixed the original build race include sys/types.h in lex_config.l for getting u_long definition Signed-off-by: Khem Raj <raj.khem@gmail.com>
2015-12-16meta: more removals of redunant FILES_${PN}-dbgRoss Burton
In some recipes overly-split -dbg packages were merged into PN-dbg. Unless there's a very good reason, recipes should have a single -dev and -dbg package. Signed-off-by: Ross Burton <ross.burton@intel.com>
2015-09-06pcmciautils: handle udev dir being 2 levels below /Joshua Lock
When building with a merged /usr dir the udev directory lives at /usr/lib/udev - update the FILES pattern to also pick up udev files installed two levels below the / to ensure a merged /usr works. Signed-off-by: Joshua Lock <joshua.lock@collabora.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-05-20pcmciautils: fix the parallel building issueRoy Li
The building failure still display after upstream commit 055a5bbfc[ pcmciautils: fix for parallel build], so refix it. Signed-off-by: Roy Li <rongqing.li@windriver.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2015-02-03pcmciautils: fix SRC_URI and HOMEPAGERobert Yang
Fixed: WARNING: Failed to fetch URL http://kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/pcmcia/pcmciautils-018.tar.bz2, attempting MIRRORS if available The pcmciautils-018.tar.bz2 is gone from kernel.org. Signed-off-by: Robert Yang <liezhi.yang@windriver.com>
2014-01-02Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton
A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible. Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com>
2013-04-17pcmciautils: Use pkgconfig to set udev variables correctlyRichard Purdie
Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-04-02pcmciautils: fix segmentation fault of pccardctl commandTakeshi Hamasaki
This changes definition of PCMCIAUTILS_VERSION to string from a multichacter constant to avoid segmentation fault of pccardctl command. Signed-off-by: Takeshi Hamasaki <hmatrjp@users.sourceforge.jp> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2011-07-01Drop PRIORITY variableRichard Purdie
As discussed on the mailing list, this variable isn't useful and if wanted would be better implemented by distros using pn-X overrides. This patch executes: find . -regex ".*\.\(bb\|inc\)$" | xargs sed -i '/^PRIORITY = ".*"$/d' against the tree removing the referenced. Thanks to Phil Blundell for the command. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>

2011-03-23Various: Update KERNELORG_MIRROR for consistencyTom Rini
In mirrors.bbclass we point into /pub but we don't in bitbake.conf. All uses of KERNELORG_MIRROR look into /pub anyhow, so lets make use of that. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <tom_rini@mentor.com>

2010-08-27Major layout change to the packages directoryRichard Purdie
Having one monolithic packages directory makes it hard to find things and is generally overwhelming. This commit splits it into several logical sections roughly based on function, recipes.txt gives more information about the classifications used. The opportunity is also used to switch from "packages" to "recipes" as used in OpenEmbedded as the term "packages" can be confusing to people and has many different meanings. Not all recipes have been classified yet, this is just a first pass at separating things out. Some packages are moved to meta-extras as they're no longer actively used or maintained.
